As with any of our ministries, to apply for a used vehicle or car repairs (less than $300), you must first become a client. To become a client, you will need to use the choice food pantry.
Once a client, you will need to complete a financial aid application. Please ask the receptionist that serves you at the food pantry for this application.
Once you have filled out the entire form and made copies of all corresponding paperwork (listed on the front page of the application), please turn it in. Do not turn in an application without ALL documentation.
It may take up to a month for the initial review of a "used vehicle application". If it is discovered that all documents are not present, a letter will be sent to the applicant to the address provided on the application within 2 months.
After this part of the process, your application goes to a board for review. If there are any remaining questions, a volunteer will contact you. Once a final decision is made by the board and director, you will be notified.
We are not able to give you a time frame as we have no idea when someone will donate a vehicle, what needs to be repaired on the vehicle, and if we have the funds to repair a vehicle.
Vehicles are given "as is", and we are not responsible for repairing the car once given.
