Car Seat Clinic

The Merciful Help Center partners with the Carmel Police Dept., which provides an Indiana Highway Car Seat Safety Specialist to teach you how to correctly install your car seat as well as how to use all of the features and properly fit your child in their seat. We also provide new car seats to families in need through government grants.

To request a car seat, follow these easy steps:

• Utilize the food pantry. This makes you an MHC client or makes your account active again. Please remember to bring a photo ID as well as a current utility bill OR lease to be served.
• Request a car seat clinic appointment with a blue card at the front desk. One of the volunteer receptionists at the food pantry will assist you with this!
• You will receive a postcard in the mail with your car seat clinic appointment date and time.

 

• On your appointment day, please arrive at the Matthew 25 Center Conference Room (located just outside the food pantry entryway doors) no later than your scheduled appointment time. To receive a car seat at your scheduled appointment, you MUST bring with you:
  • A photo ID and utility bill OR lease
  • The child(ren) that the car seat is for
  • The vehicle that the car seat will be installed in to

No exceptions! Without any of these, you will have to reschedule your appointment.
