Tools for School Donation Drive

Tools for School provides back to school necessities to families in need. Financially qualified children from Hamilton County receive backpacks, school supplies, socks, shoes and underwear to start the school year.

We assisted over 2,182 students in 2015.

Please consider donating new supplies from this list, or we can do the shopping for you when you sponsor a child. We buy in bulk and look for discounts.

Please Sponsor a Child!

  • $500 provides the backpack, school supplies, shoes, socks, and underwear for five children.
  • $100 provides all of the supplies for one child.
  • $50 will purchase 3 backpacks
  • $25 will purchase school supplies for one child

To make a tax deductible monetary donation, please send your check payable to Merciful H.E.L.P Center with Tools for School indicated on the memo line. Mail checks to: H.E.L.P. Committee, Attn: Tools for School, 1045 West 146th Street, Carmel, IN 46032.

For more information call 663-4039 or email

In addition to collecting donations from our parish and community, we are looking for volunteers to help with set-up and distribution the last weekend in July. This is a great way for teens to earn service hours and for all families to give back to the community and serve those in need!
